Kat's boyfriend says: "She smiles, she sings, and all's right with the world." D'awwww. Raised in a musical theatre and classical world as well as being fluent in French, she brings a talent for interpretation and her own special style to each song.
A veritable virtuoso, Max is known about town as the go-to for mandolin musicianship and stunning solo runs. A regular with several local groups, Max is well versed in gypsy, latin and bluegrass styles.
Mark started his musical life playing clarinet. Although he could still probably carry a tune, we're all glad he moved to the gee-tar in his teens. Learn a lot more about him by clicking here:
La Pompe is thrilled to have Phil on upright bass to help keep us all in line. Phil, a native of Dallas, began his musical studies as part of the inaugural class at the High School for the Performing Arts at Booker T. Washington in Dallas. He continued his studies at the University of North Texas under the instruction of Jack Petersen. Philip has been teaching guitar and bass for the last 10 years in the Forney/Terrell area and currently is an instructor at Troubadour Music in Terrell, TX.
A little bit of gypsy,a little bit of French,a whole lotta swing!
